Confusion

Its incredibly suprising to realize how difficult it is for people to differentiate between two diametrically opposite points. Honesty and dishonesty. Truth and lies. Good and bad. Responsible and selfish. Conceptually and sometimes even linguistically, these are antonyms. But they seem clear enough only in text, not in life. No wonder then, the written word is often referred to as 'in black and white'.

In life, the ends always justify the means. I've realized that there are so many people around who will not act unless the sword hangs on their heads that it is absolutely unnecessary, to the point that it seems foolish, to try and be someone extraordinary. To be extraordinary, all you need to do is act extraordinary. Keep telling people that you are extraordinary. Keep saying words, terms, statistics, keep making claims which unless verified, can easily classify you as extraordinary. Thats it, you are extraordinary. Everyone consents that you are. Everyone agrees, believes and will vouch for it. They will do so because it doesnt harm, concern or bother them directly, but that works for you. All you need is proof, witnesses, backing, support.

They say life is a full circle. It really is a full circle, but the circle is drawn in a place different than as assumed popularly. Its a full circle in the sense that there comes a point where the darkness meets the light. Although all these concepts are diametrically opposite but on the circle of life, they have to meet each other. When they do meet, the differences between them blur to the point where it is no longer discrenable as to which is which. I am living in a place right now which thrives on this indecision, treating it like a free swaying pendulum. Its really dizzy to have to sit on the pendulum.
