Competitive Sports branding

This is a branding project for my cousin's sports services - everything from dealership in goods to coaching, managing and playing. Although his current focus is football, the brand needed to be agnostic to specific sports and needed to communicate just 'sports'. Here's the logo that I developed:

The font used is Revolution by Saji Johnny Kundukulam. I've made some customizations to the font to suit the identity. The font is free for personal use, but the creator, Saji, was very kind and allowed me to use it for this logo since this is a friendly project not meant for earning any money.

This logo came out of a pretty long process of refinement of an initial idea. I'll document the entire process and post it up here soon. Soon to come also, are applications of the logo after I design visiting cards, website layout etc around the identity.
